Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Part 3)
Hi all, yeah but listen carefully Andrew they seem to be working in the pmr area as the MDC chirp seems to accompany the transmissions also the RID too.

Ah, no worries, thanks Matt... I wasn't paying that much attention!
I wonder why they're out in no-man's land when the city still needs their DISREC channels updated?

There is more than one tech out & about... and besides those around town are now almost done, just doing the stragglers.Bigfella237 wrote:Ah, no worries, thanks Matt... I wasn't paying that much attention!

Just to give Bigfella a heads up where the analogue control channels are still active in the Sydney Metro I can still hear the distinctive 3600 baud cc signal on these frequencies. Perhaps if other folk have a listen out and see what control channels are active in 3600 mode, we can get a handle on the state of play where the techs are up. They have started switching them off/converting to full P25 in Sydney as a couple of sites i know of have disappeared already (Beecroft for instance and that control channel in the 418Mhz band has gone)

Hi Grant,
Are you sure about Glenbrook? That is weird as it isn't one that is used anymore. There should also be Razorback and Maddens. I've just been told that I have the green light for the Wollongong area so you should see 4.1 disappearing off Maddens, Berkeley & The Gib in the next week. Katoomba is not far off.
Cheers,
Richard

Isn't 416.3000 Maddens Plains?
Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Part 3)
I was scratching around trying to find an old listing
417.5625 is apparently Heathcote
416.3000 is Maddens Plain
Can't hear Razorback from Blacktown (well not where i am)

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Part 3)
Looks like Glenbrook has switched to 100% P25 on 416.4875MHz.
Razorback is not switched over yet. Current P25 CC is 418.225Mhz and 4.1 CC is 416.475Mhz
