Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3
How do they do their updates? Are they manually pushed out by techs coming out to the stations and touching the radios?
Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3
Yes we they told to go to our local fire control and Where they install it

Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3
That's a LOT of extra money just to include a few seldom-used VHF channels!

Plus, you wouldn't want the main radio in the truck sitting on some fireground channel anyway, you may miss a call to get out of an area in a hurry, or divert to a higher priority tasking or something.

I’m curious as to why the RFS radios seem to include the SES TG’s, but not vice versa? Surely permission would be needed from the SES, yet it’s not reciprocated? Or is it only the PMR channels? Anybody able to shed light?
I’ve heard the RFS on SES channels during storms in the past, but the RID used was an SES one, so assumed they had handed a portable over so they could be tasked. The same RFS tanker was also communicating with their RFS comms after being deployed on the SES channel.
